Sea Kayak Connecticut was founded in 2010 with the goal of providing high-quality tours and meaningful instruction in Western Connecticut. The business has since expanded to offer premium lines of sea kayaking equipment and paddling apparel.

Sea Kayak Connecticut’s friendly and professional guides work closely with clients to create safe and fun paddling adventures. We pride ourselves in having well-qualified and highly credentialed staff, top-of-the-line equipment, and a true passion for getting people out on the water.

Organizations We Support

THE AMERICAN CANOE ASSOCIATION
www.americancanoe.org

A member-based, national nonprofit organization, The American Canoe Association, serves the broader paddling public by providing education related to all aspects of paddling. It also provides stewardship support to help protect paddling environments and sanctions programs and events to promote paddlesport competition and recreation. We proudly guide, teach, and train under their banner.

CONNECTICUT FUND FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
www.ctenvironment.org

Also known as Save the Sound, this non-profit is dedicated to protecting and improving the land, air, and water of Connecticut and Long Island Sound. They work hard to keep our paddling grounds clean. We participate in their beach clean-ups and champion their mission.

LIGHTHOUSE TO LIGHTHOUSE RACE
www.lighthousetolighthouse.org

An annual event, conducted in the autumn and for those comfortable in open waters, the Lighthouse to Lighthouse Race is a 7 or 14-mile race for any seaworthy, human-powered craft. Launching from Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk Connecticut, the course takes advantage of Pecks Ledge lighthouse in the east, the southern perimeter of the Norwalk Islands, and Greens Ledge Lighthouse in the west, to create one of the more unique races in New England. We are proud to sponsor the race and to take part in the competition.
